About Martin

Martin has has a life filled with music. As a young boy was a chorister at Christchurch Reading, before joining the tenor section as a young adult. Whilst at school getting an O level in music and playing both piano and violin.
Martin took a break from singing when he got  married and raised a family.
Joining SOTA adult rock choir for 10 years (before choir folded during covid) and for 5 years a top tenor in Reading Male Voice choir, where still singing with them weekly along as singer in 2 other mixed choirs.
Also during this time Martin wrote, directed and performed in 2 musicals at a local theatre group, 80's best years of our life and Musicbox.
Enjoying all theses aspects of singing in recent months has been singing more as a soloist, with his own show - Through the decades and at local events more recently putting on and singing in a charity event An Evening of ABBA.
This has given a different focus and enjoyment to get covers if songs out for others to enjoy, whilst also having times with choirs too.
